Aschwin deWolf has given us a summary of Sebastian Seung's book on the Connectome. The review seems to be a fair-minded exposition of a fair-minded exposition. Most of us already believe that the astounding connections, literally billions of them, in our brain enable you to read this sentence, and me to write it. The future needs the uniqueness that is you, and cryonics and brain preservation are seeking to help send this uniqueness to an amazing future. Aschwin's review has added yet another book to my list that will (maybe) help me be a better human. What did you think of this book review? Is this book a help or hindrance to the real world practice of cryonics?
