The Biostasis Summit
At Vitalist Bay 2026
The Biostasis Summit is back this year as part of Vitalist Bay 2026, a four-day longevity festival at Lighthaven Campus in Berkeley, CA. Full day of cryonics/biostasis programming on Sunday, May 17.
The day features org leaders from Alcor, Tomorrow Bio, CryoPets, Sparks Brain Preservation, and Nectome making the case for what the field should prioritize through 2031 and defending those priorities in front of peers and the broader audience.
A science panel with Greg Fahy, Aschwin de Wolf, Ralf Spindler, Nick Llewellyn, and Andy McKenzie covers where biostasis research stands today and where it's headed.
The afternoon includes a science deep dive, lightning talks (including a CryoDAO Whole-Body Cryopreservation project update), organization deep dive working sessions, a talk from Ralph Merkle, and a Cryosphere fireside chat.
